because you fell for drugs. Would you not feel lonely and helpless, lost without a cause
like an island?
We know it is painful to imagine this but just think of the fellow on the other side. You
can make a difference to the lives of these addicts and their families under the
"Dost" program (Dost - Friend in Hindi). Join Navjyoti in its noble
endeavor of drug deaddiction for the street children and marginalised youth.
We believe that when a person falls into the clutches of drugs, not only he but also his
family and friends are affected. Hence contributing for the recovery of an addict also
means restoring happiness to his family.
The Dost program involves adoption of a drug addict for the period of his treatment where
you assume his responsibility just like a good friend would. This would cost you only
Rupees 1000.00 per month (Or United States Dollars 25,00 per month) towards his food
expenses for a period of 6 months. You can choose to fund for the full period or part
thereof. The treatment expenses will be borne by us. We will keep you informed about the
progress of your friend. You can keep in touch with your friend through mail or you can
also choose to visit him.
You can send your crossed demand drafts / cheques in favour of "Delhi Police
Foundation for C D & R". This program is 100% exempt under Section 35AC of the
Indian Income Tax Act. Navjyoti is authorised by the Government of India to receive
contributions in foreign currency from donors abroad.
